Considered as one of the favoured dive sites here, despite its remote location 45 mins from Tekek by boat, and known locally as Tokong Bahara, what you’ll see at first are two giant boulders sticking out side by side. As you descend down the steep walls of the pinnacles which are covered in coral formations and fauna of all kind, they drop off onto a reef plateau 25m below, and reveal an impressive coral garden of giant barrel sponges, anemones, lilac and red soft corals, black corals and sea fans in spectacular formations and colours.

The vibrant marine life and excellent viz up to 30m makes it ideal for underwater photography as you capture colourful reef fish like sweetlips, surgeonfish, clownfish, soldierfish, and emperor angelfish swimming all around you. If you look closely, you may see puffer fish, porcupine fish and humphead wrasse coasting along the corals, as stingrays rest on the sandy reef bottom, and eels like white-eyed and giant morays peek out from the rock crevices.

The moderate to strong currents bring in bigger pelagic hunters like barracudas, and reef sharks such as nurse sharks and blacktip sharks. Morning dives in particular will see these sharks swimming around the depths of the two rocks. The best times to dive here are from April to September and it’s recommended for intermediate to advanced divers.
