Situated 15 mins by boat just north of Layang Layang, this site has a fabulous and impressive coral garden spread out over multi levels with depths ranging from 5m to 15m which is great for beginner divers who want to explore the shallows. For the more adventurous and advanced divers, the depths can go down to about 40m beyond the garden.
The reef is crammed full of thick and healthy red and purple sea fans, soft and hard corals, sea anemones, flora and nudibranchs in stunning colours, and is rich in marine life and macro creatures like anemone shrimps, crabs, flatworms, stem corals, molluscs and more can be found nestling amongst the corals as well as clouds of common reef fish like pufferfish, parrotfish, butterfly fish.
The panoramic views as far as 40m viz allows for excellent underwater macro and micro photography. One exciting highlight of this site is that, you will be surrounded by huge schools of pelagic hunters that patrol this spot regularly, such as hammerhead sharks, manta rays, whitetip sharks, trevally, jacks, grey reef sharks, eagle rays and barracudas. Be warned, you will need more than one dive here to capture all these fabulous sights!
