This is a fantastic and vibrant dive site found on Sipadan Island that is home to many turtles giving the site its name. Like all sites in Sipadan, there is also an abundance of pelagic fish in vast quantities and the site is visited by a lot of other marine life.

The site has a maximum depth of 28 metres and is a wall dive site with excellent visibility of around 30 metres. It is the home of many different types of turtles, and in a way, the site was manmade. The nearby beach was used by a team of marine biologists to set up a turtle hatchery. The beach became known as Turtle Beach and these turtles naturally find their way to the coral reef at Turtle Patch to feed on the algae growing on the coral reef.

However, the dive site is very popular not simply because of the turtles. The site is also famous for the huge numbers of giant trevallies that live here. There are schools made up of thousands of fish that circle the dive site, providing a remarkable experience for divers. Added to this, there are also schools of white tip reef sharks that patrol the area. Other marine life includes triggerfish, moray eels, lionfish, spotted sweetlips, and puffer fish. Divers will not be bored on this dive and can try spotting nudibranchs, leaf fish, and stonefish amongst the staghorn corals making this a truly fantastic dive site.
