University of Arkansas junior Stephanie Carr turned in a career-best time in the 200 freestyle at the 2008 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships late Friday night at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion on the campus of Ohio State University.
Carr touched in with a 1: 49. 62 in the 200 free, bettering her previous best from the Southeastern Conference Championships. Carr's time was the second best in Arkansas' program history. The Jacksonville, Fla., native finished 67 th.
Freshman Katie Kastes had the best Lady Razorback finish of the day, placing 24 th in the 400 individual medley with a 4: 15. 19. Kastes had the third-fastest time in the record book.
