Harbor Creek's Brittany DiSanti successfully defended her title, earning the top score for the second year in a row at the District 10 Class AA diving championships Saturday at Penn State Behrend.
DiSanti scored a 425.75 and was the only girls diver to break the 400-point mark to earn top honors. Titusville's Jacquelyn Kerr placed second with a score of 397.20 and Oil City's Amy Dorow was third with 344.35.
In the boys event, North East's Mac Lewis took the title from 2007 champion Robert Morris of Titusville.
Lewis posted a score of 463.85, while Morris finished as the runner-up this time, scoring 435.05 points. Harbor Creek's Kyle Johnson (417.25) finished third.
DiSanti and Lewis, both juniors, will travel to Kinney Natatorium in Lewisburg for the PIAA Class AA diving championships March 12-15. The girls diving final is scheduled for March 14, while the boys is March 15.
