OVER the weekend at the FINA Diving Grand Prix held in Montreal, the Chinese won the bulk of the medals as is usually the case.
Gleb Galperin and Dmitry Dobroskok of Russia (men's tower synchro) and Melissa Wu of Australia (women's tower) were the only divers outside of China to win gold. The Russians collected 445.08 points, while Wu posted 399.25 points in her event.
He Chong (three-meter, 530.55) and Zhou Luxin (tower, 566.60) won individual titles for the men, while Qin Kai and Wang Feng took the men's three-meter synchro with 459.93 points
Guo Jingjing (three-meter, 383.45) won an individual for the women, while teaming with Wu Minxia to win the three-meter synchro with 350.40 points. Chen Ruolin and Wang Xin also won the women's tower synchro with 356.10 points.
