A Coronial Inquest will begin today into a series of sky-diving deaths near York, east of Perth.

The Skydive Express drop-zone near York has been the scene of five fatal jumps since 2003.
They include the death of a 16 year old boy from the United Arab Emirates, tourists from Japan and Singapore and two experienced sky-divers.

The company conducts 20-thousand jumps a year and has repeatedly defended its safety record.
