Paradis Places 20th In 3-Meter Diving

Babson College sophomore Aaron Paradis wrapped up his first-ever trip to the NCAA Division III Men's Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday, as he placed 20th overall in the 3-meter diving event at the University of Miami-Ohio.

The first Babson diver in over 20 years to compete at nationals, Paradis finishd 18th of the 1-meter board on Thursday. He followed that up with another solid showing on Saturday, as he finished 20th overall with a score of 378.30.

After winning the NEWMAC Championship in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events last winter, Paradis was named NEWMAC Diver of the Year. He placed third at the conference meet in both meets this season, and along the way earned his first-ever bid to the national championships.
