Jolly Old Saint Nick didn't need a wet suit for his dive amongst snappers, lobsters, golden grunts and other marine life in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.

Santa, portrayed by Jason Schwenke of the Florida Keys Dive Center, is submerging underwater this Christmas season to raise money for the Florida Keys Children's Shelter. For a donation to the shelter, divers can have their photograph taken with Santa. Fundraising will continue through Christmas Eve as long as there is a demand.

Schwenke has donned the Santa suit for the past three years. He says the suit soaking wet adds an extra 20 pounds, but that he's finally mastered the art of keeping the beard secure and his pants from falling down.
