Brian Vickers went skydiving the other day, but he said from the moment he woke up until the moment the race ended, he was more stressed out during the Gatorade Duels.

"I never would've thought that this day would be more stressful than jumping out of an airplane, but it definitely was," Vickers said.

Vickes finished 11th, but raced his way into the Daytona 500. Early in the race, the first caution was a result of Vickers spinning out. Nice recovery for the Red Bull Toyota driver.

Fellow Red Bull driver, A.J. Allmendinger didn't make the field.

"We were just tight the whole time, and we never had that in practice," Allmendinger said. "That cught us a little off guard."
