The University of Utah diving team will send two athletes to the 2008 Diving Zone `E' Regionals this weekend. The Zone meet will be held in Oklahoma City, Okla., from March 13-15. Utah's Kwan Ling Yu and Anna Braszkiewicz will both be diving at the meet.

"Our season has gone great so far," comments diving coach Sterling Richards. "Our divers have continually improved from the beginning of the year and they finished strong at the conference championships."

Yu won the platform diving by five points at the Mountain West Conference Championships. She scored 218.60 points to give Utah its only diving win of the championships. In one-meter diving Yu scored a 258.70 to place 10th.

Braszkiewicz placed in the top-16 in all three boards at the MWC Championships. In three-meter diving she scored 270.35 points to place eighth. She finished 12th in one-meter diving (244.35 points). Braszkiewicz finished off the championships with a 16th place finish in the platform diving, where she scored 176.60 points.
