Saskatoon diver Sam Valentine brought home a trio of medals from The Sting Invitational Diving Competition which took place in Victoria on the weekend.

Valentine, 13, won gold in the platform event and silver medals in the one- and three-metre events.

Fellow Saskatoon competitors Sydney Hesselberg and Rikki Ross reached the qualifying standard for nationals in the girls' 12-13 age group.

Hesselberg captured a bronze in platform, and Kesha Naylor and Ainsley Olver won silver and bronze, respectively, in girls' 16-18 division one-metre competition.

The Saskatoon contingent was among 125 competitors across Canada and the Netherlands taking part in the meet.
