University of Hawai'i senior diver Mats Wiktorsson finished 14th in the platform diving final at the NCAA Championships hosted by the University of Washington on Saturday night in Federal Way, Wash.
Wiktorsson scored a 312.60 during the morning preliminaries and qualified at the No. 14 spot. Wiktorsson then scored a 336.40 in the consolation finals, giving him 14th place.
The senior from Sweden was an honorable mention All-American his junior year and finished 13th in the platform a year ago. Wiktorrson was named an honorable mention All-American this season as well following Saturday's 14th place.
Going into the final day of the NCAA Championships, UH stood in 20th place in the team standings, based on the performances of Wiktorsson and Magnus Frick.
For the second straight year, the UH men's diving team had two All-American, with Frick being named an All-American for the 1-meter and the 3-meter and Wiktorsson being named
