The dive site is near Lohsamah bay and consists of a 30-meter wall; throughout the length of the wall there are many tunnels, nooks and crannies, and small caves. Only experienced divers should enter the caves and the experience is one to remember. Although, this area has become famous because  “The Beach”, the famous movie, the cave is making this dive spot equally well known amongst divers.

The reef along the wall is in very good condition with both hard and soft coral formations. The marine life is equally good and this spot can be a great dive site for exploring, as there are many different places of the wall to explore including the above mentioned caves. Towards the south of the dive site there is also a drop off.

Many different Gorgonian sea fans often are harbouring pipefish, shrimpfish, seahorses, and large groups of glassfish. There are also mushroom corals, staghorn, and table corals on the wall and hiding amongst these divers can find eels, scorpion fish, nudibranchs, and lobsters. Regular reef fish to spot in clue butterfly fish, anemone fish, triggerfish, snapper, Moorish idols, and groupers.

The cave itself is the largest underwater cave of the island and it offers divers a great exploration opportunity. Inside the cave and around the cave there are many different types of marine life. Divers can expect to see octopus, cuttle fish, turtles and reef sharks, sometimes the latter are found in the cave itself.
